STRYKE WRAITH COMPLETE ART COMMISSION
*STRYKE WRAITH* is a Streaming Brand on twitch that was brought to life through a very Involved process by working very closely with the client. The client wanted a shield-like logo with a lightning sword cut through the middle. After extensive research and testing, this is the final design we arrived at. THE PROCESS:
The goal was to represent the clients current and future tastes. As a gaming, streaming channel, the client wanted to truly represent his brand and catch the attention of his viewers. But the PROCESS was more extensive than that. I divided the branding strategy into 5 categories: HUD Layout | Overlays | Logo Design | Channel Panels | Subscriber Badges.
HUD LAYOUT
In the process of designing the HUD, the client wanted various versions for different styles of transitions. Different HUD Designs would fit different/appropriate situations. Because this specific client engaged in more than one style of streaming, he didn't want to be limited by one style of Branding in HUD design, but be able to carry it across medians. Here are a few examples of some finalized designs:
OVERLAYS
Overlays were predetermined to be simplistic and utilize elements already designed, such as the Logo and color scheme as per the Clients specified instructions.
CHANNEL PANELS
Channel Panels involve a process of designing the Panel outline, then designing the text to fit the panel outline. Sometimes, Icons designs are also recommended to enhance the overall inner aesthetics of the Panel. This design specifically was shaped after the concept of a Key and the idea of the Black Spirit in Black Desert Online. The Client had a multitude of Panel choices to use for organizational purposes.
SUBSCRIBER BADGES
Subscriber Badges are ongoing time-linked rewards for the clients supporters/patrons who subscribe to the services they provide. The client wanted something fashioned out of predesigned elements, therefore after some research and consultation, swords became the main design element to hone the focus of these badges. These were the results:
